Fried Rice with Shrimp Paste

What a bloomin palava for a fried rice recipe that stinks of fish! 
Hey that’s nothing!  You should try some of the Northern Thai dishes where they leave the ingredients to go bad in a tin before they cook them,  Phoooey!!

Anyway, back to the plot…  As one who is NOT renowned for being a smelly fish lover I find myself yet again pleasantly surprised by this dish.  Yes it has a fairish fishy aroma but that actually pales when you actually tuck in and it balances very nicely with all the other side ingredients which include, fresh chillies (chopped), cucumber, green mango, shallots, flash fried dried shrimp and shredded omelette with a secret ingredient.
